Minutes - September 19, 1974

Lewisville Area Council On September 19, 1974, 9:30 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Lewisville, a special meeting was called for the purpose of organizing an Area Council for Lewisville and it’s surrounding district. Mrs. Barbara Bertrand introduced Mrs. Ruth Jackson, President of Second District PTA. Mrs. Jackson emphasized the far reaching force of a well organized council, and the PTA’s unique role in bringing together all people in a community in a united effort in finding a continued level of excellence in education for our children. [...] With great pride for the accomplishments of the morning, the first meeting of the Lewisville Area Council was adjourned at 12:15 p.m.
