October Delegates Meeting

Our next council delegate meeting is coming up! Delegates and presidents (or a representative from your board), please join us on October 11th from 9:30-11:30 at the Bolin PLC! 

In LISD, we are blessed with a diverse population, with families of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. Unfortunately, sometimes that diversity is a barrier that prevents people from joining PTA, participating in programs and events, and accepting leadership roles on our boards. At our meeting on the 11th, we will be learning about why these barriers exist in our district, and more importantly, specific ways we can overcome them to achieve PTA’s first Standard of Family-School Partnerships: Welcome All Families.
