Dressed to Learn Open House 10/10

Dressed to Learn is opening its doors on Thurs., Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon to the community for tours, one-on-one chats and information on the good that Dressed to Learn does for LISD students in need. Have you donated in the past? Have you heard the name but aren’t sure what Dressed to Learn does? Would you like to volunteer or help host a drive? Please join us for our annual DTL Open House and learn all about us! Coffee will be served.

Dressed to Learn is a program of the LISD Council of PTAs that is fully volunteer-run and volunteer-supported, supplied with community donations. We couldn’t do what we do without our generous LISD community.

Our closet offers comfy school clothes for LISD students in need (for any reason) so that they can go to school Dressed to Learn. Counselors, social workers, nurses and school administration use our closet every day,

October will be a crucial month for our LISD Coat Drive – so please consider bringing a coat in youth sizes 8-16 (hooded, lined and water-repellant) to donate at the event!
