2024 LISD Coat Drive

The Dressed to Learn closet is proudly partnering with LISD Counseling and Social Work on its 2024 Coats4Kids drive. LISD is looking to provide 1,500 coats this fall to keep LISD students warm this winter and Dressed to Learn is helping with collection and distribution.

We are looking for new and like-new coats with hoods, warm liners and a water-repellant exteriors—no raincoats or windbreakers, please. We are also accepting NEW hat and glove donations to be distributed with the coats. Our most requested sizes in 23-24 were child sizes 8-16 (Youth medium, large and extra-large). We accept coats from size youth 4 to 20 and adult sizes extra small to XXXL (3XL), so check your closets and your local shops for great deals!

LISD hopes to have drop-off boxes at schools around the district. Schools looking to donate coats may also contact dressedtolearn@lisdpta.org to schedule a pick-up. Dressed to Learn maintains five drop-off locations around LISD, which can be accessed on our Link.Tree page, and coats may be dropped off at the Dressed to Learn closet at Southridge ES.

Additionally our Link.Tree page offers a Coat Drive donation of $25 as well as online coat-purchase options through our Amazon, Walmart and Target wishlists that will ship directly to Dressed to Learn.

Thank you for assisting LISD and Dressed to Learn in keeping LISD students in need warm this winter!
