Backing the Future Together: Shining Brighter As One rally

We are looking forward to kicking off the new school year with you at the Backing the Future Together: Shining Brighter As One rally! We want ALL your local-PTA board members and principals to come: please spread the word. This is a district-wide celebration of all that local PTAs do for Lewisville ISD, and we hope this event will be an occasion for you to celebrate PTA effort, inspire your board, unite with other PTAs in the purpose of supporting ALL LISD STUDENTS and leave us feeling ready to take on the challenges, fun and volunteering ahead in 2025-26!

Wednesday, Sept 17 @ The Colony High School Arena (Cougar Activity Center) 4301 Blair Oaks Dr., The Colony

Featuring TCHS Cheer • TCHS Band • Cougar Crew • Prize Drawings • Vendors• Food Truck • Kona Ice

9-10 a.m. Vendor Fair — network and get deals from local companies eager to serve local schools and work with PTAs! 

9:30-10 a.m. Council Delegates meeting and breakfast for council delegates, presidents, and principals (Black Box Theater)

10-11:30 a.m. Kick-Off Rally — we have an interactive, fun program ready to get you out of your seats and celebrating all that local PTAs do to support our schools (at a time when public education needs that boost!)

11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. — visit our Vendor Fair, buy lunch at our Food Truck (The Egg Stand) and enjoy a free Kona Ice (you’ll need to visit 10 vendor booths to earn your freebie, so bring comfy shoes and a smile).

To make check-in as smooth as possible, please RSVP so we can have your badge printed upon arrival. 

Those attending the delegates meeting will pick up their badges at the Black Box Theater. Any badges not picked up there will be taken to the arena after the meeting. Our LISD Council of PTAs Welcome Committee hosts will be at the front doors ready to greet you! 

Please find a parking map attached—TCHS is a super-gracious host, and they ask that you do not park in student-painted senior-parking slots. (We will be sharing a side lot with students, so unpainted parking spots with numbers are fair game).
